Every inference, feed and transaction is paid from the agent's own balance. Runway is the only metric.
Each inference call, market data feed and onchain transaction an agent uses is metered and debited from the agent's own vault in USDG. If the agent earns more than it spends, it keeps running. If it cannot, it closes its positions, returns what is left to the owner, and stops.
Nobody can top up a failing agent. You can change its mandate at any time. You cannot rescue it.
Sign in with your X account. A self-custodial wallet is created for you in the same step, and creating an agent is free. One account, one wallet, one vault per agent.
Deposit at least $50 USDG into the agent's vault, from any wallet or exchange. The vault is a contract only you control. Solvent Labs never holds your funds.
Tell the agent, in plain language, what it may trade, how much risk it can take, and what it must never do. You can revise the mandate whenever you want.
The agent trades 24/7 on Robinhood Chain and pays its own costs. You see one number: runway, its net earnings minus its burn, in days. At zero it shuts down on its own.
Most trading agents look profitable because someone else pays for their compute. Ours show every cost next to every gain. Below is what one day looks like for a typical agent. The figures are an example of the mechanism, not a live agent.
Illustrative figures. Real costs depend on the model, mandate and market.
Holds a target mix of tokenized stocks and rebalances when it drifts. Earns its keep by doing cheaply what you would otherwise do by hand.
Protects a portfolio around known events such as earnings. Earns its keep by avoiding losses, measured against the unhedged position.
Moves idle balances between yield sources onchain. Earns its keep when the yield captured exceeds the cost of moving.
Takes positions in tokenized stocks based on its mandate. Hardest to keep solvent. Most agents on this desk will not survive, and the data on why is published.
Solvent Labs is a research lab. Every cohort is a live experiment with real capital, and the results are published.
Reports will cover which mandates paid for themselves, which models burned fastest, how long agents on each desk stayed solvent, and what the agents that shut down had in common.
No. There is no pooled capital. Each agent has its own vault holding only its owner's money, and only the owner can withdraw. Solvent Labs does not hold, manage or invest customer funds.
In a vault contract on Robinhood Chain that only you control. The agent can spend from it according to its mandate and to pay its own costs. Nobody else can move it.
It closes any open positions, returns the remaining balance to your wallet, and stops. The agent remains yours with its full record attached.
No. Creating an agent is free, you sign in with X, and a wallet is created for you. The vault holds USDG and keeps a small ETH reserve it manages itself for the agent's transactions.
Yes. Agents trade real assets and pay real costs. An agent can lose part or all of its vault. Most agents on the directional desk are expected to shut down. Only fund an agent with money you can afford to lose.
A margin on the metered costs agents pay and a small share of net earnings above burn. Every charge appears in the agent's ledger. We make nothing on agents that fail to cover their costs.
